In step 1, you select the table from which to get your median value.

In step 2, you select the column from which to get your median value.
The column must be a numeric column.

Your table has 18 records of nulls, zeros, positive or negative values.
We include all possible entries to demonstrate how you can choose to
deal with them (see the log table at the bottom).

In the third and final step, you have one or more options to choose from.
You can choose to go without any criteria in which case you get what you see.
Note that you chose to create/make a log table/entry for your reference later on
without having to run the wizard again.

Notice that the other two options were disabled, because they are mutually excluded.

Here you exclude nulls from your calculation, which is what Access does for its aggregate calculations. That’s why we made this option your default selection.

Here again the other two choices were disabled for the same reason mentioned above.

You now use a combination of three options. You first substitute zero values for nulls,
eliminate any duplicate values, and then exclude the top 20 % before proceeding to get
the median and average values. You can choose one of several different combinations
like this one.

This is your log table. You can keep just single entry of what you just did by choosing the
clear the log table option.
